Visiting a village economy is like meeting Adam Smith!!

I had a wonderful time visiting my village.

Some observations:

Private share Autos are competing with public transports in rural south India. Though, the price per km is high in private share autos but still people prefer private share autos because it saves their time, distance etc.

The village welfare schemes are highly misused for politicians private benefits.

The rapid development of information and communication technologies has limitation in terms of its positive impacts on village economy.

People in village economy are empowered.

Empowerment impact on local politics is something yet to happen.
